In 1967, near the height of the War there is a place of deadly fighting, and curious rumors. It was known as the Quế Sơn Valley. These rumors and missing Marines are being investigated by undercover agents embedded with Bravo Company.

Ryan, a former Marine, flies to Quế Sơn to see his fiancé Vân—the daughter of a powerful ARVN General. A typhoon disrupts his flight. Grounded in Chu Lai, he continues overland under the cover of extreme weather to avoid the enemy.
Bravo Company discovers enemy caves and tunnels inside Hill 270. A handful of Marines come across Ryan and Vân hiding there. The encounter leads to the discovery of ancient treasure inside a secret chamber; the small group tells no one. Bravo is about to unwittingly bury it all in the process of blowing up numerous enemy caves.
A recon unit, fighting for its life, warns Bravo of an enemy division approaching.
